Freeport Mayor Elected 2nd Vice President of Nassau County Village Officials Association

New Hyde Park, N.Y…. At its June 25, 2015 Annual Meeting, the Nassau County Village Officials Association (NCVOA) elected Robert Kennedy, mayor of the Village of Freeport, 2nd vice president for 2015-2016. The NCVOA represents 64 incorporated villages with more than 450,000 residents.

As 2nd vice president, Mayor Kennedy will play a vital role in establishing NCVOA policies and directing the organization’s efforts on behalf of Nassau County’s village residents.

Along with Mayor Kennedy, the following NCVOA officers were installed:

1st Vice President

Bernard Ryba, mayor, Village of Old Brookville

Treasurer

Elaine Phillips, mayor, Village of Flower Hill
