On Jan. 29, residents of the 9th Senate District — including Sen. Dean Skelos, rolled up their sleeves and took part in an H1N1 Flu Vaccination clinic. Offered at the Rockville Centre Recreation Center, this program, provided in conjunction with NuHealth-Nassau Health Care Corporation, provided free H1N1 flu vaccinations to all those inattendance. Close to 200 vaccinations were administered and many other people attended to seek more information about H1N1 influenza.
Any resident who was unable to attend and would like to receive a vaccination can contact Skelos’ district office at (516) 766-8383 for more information about future vaccination sites.
