On Oct. 14, the Hispanic Brotherhood Senior Program celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month with food, music, dancing and a visit from special friends.
Mayor Francis Murray and Deputy Mayor Kathleen Baxley also made an appearance to spend time with the seniors, in addition to Jorge Martinez, the Nassau County deputy commissioner for health and human services. Martinez welcomed the seniors and is one of the leaders who helped the group expand its program.
