It’s a new tradition, Island Park and Long Beach’s bravest took to the gridiron in a show of strength and speed, at the second annual Turkey Bowl. Gathering at the Long Beach Recreation Center, the two sides faced off in a show of fun and camaraderie. The Island Park Volunteer Fire department took home a golden trophy after defeating the Long Beach Fire Department 5-2. Island Park thanked Long Beach, not only for a great game but also for always having their backs.
