While recent snowstorms have given kids ample opportunity to construct their own snowmen outdoors, the North Merrick Public Library recently offered kids another way to create them indoors – ceramics.
The library held a program for kids in grades one through five to paint their own ceramic snowmen. About 25 children, led by Rosemarie Attard, displayed their artistic abilities and left the library with their own personal winter mementos.
