Little League ends season on a high note

The Valley Stream Little League wrapped up its 52nd season with its annual Trophy Day ceremony last Saturday morning at Firemen’s Field. After hundreds of games played over the past two months, children were rewarded for their hard play.
After picking up their trophies, children then got to enjoy some traditional ballpark treats including hot dogs, and some carnival games. There was a bounce slide and castle, pitching tent and dunk tank. With the sun beating down, eager players couldn’t wait for their turn to get dunked.
