The Valley Stream Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual networking night on Oct. 19 at the American Legion Hall. About 30 local merchants and professionals were on hand to talk to members of the public about their business.
There were numerous raffles, with businesses offering prizes such as a gift baskets, gift certificates, free advertising and more. The big prize was a flat-screen television given away by the Chamber of Commerce.
