Long Beach Marching Band at Marching Band Festival

Long Beach High School participates in the 2009 Newsday Marching Band Festival at Hofstra. We soared to new heights with music from Steely Dan, David Matthews, The Dooby Brothers and the Winter Brothers. A creative mix of marching band music and movement. The creative talents of Mr. Bragino 3rd and Craig West shined through with a big sound and confidence. The dedication on the part of the students brought the teachers vision up front and center at Hofstra. Seniors Hallie Klein, Gregg Sedlick and Ariana McMillan lead the band through the performance. Freshmens Jesse Klirsfeld, Justin Charschan, Victor Tarantino joined in the the 10th, 11th and 12th marching band students to give the their support. Together, they all made up proud! We are looking forward to a great year making music together. Thank you for your commitment to music education here in Long Beach.
