Lynbrook, East Rockaway libraries increase digital presence

Posted

Having access to library resources is essential for people at all stages of their lives, especially during times like these.

Since public libraries are currently closed, the East Rockaway and Lynbrook libraries are bringing their services to the community digitally, 24/7 with online resources and subscription services, including eBooks, audio books, digital magazines, study support, homework help and continuing education for children and adults. All a resident needs is a library card. If a community member does not have a library card, they can apply for a digital card by clicking here.

In addition, each library is offering an array of services via social media, email and/or chat, such as online storytimes, webinars, virtual scavenger hunts, crafts, reading suggestions for all ages and reference and information services.
