Lynbrook High School Senior Alyssa Glanzer won a Silver Award in Adelphi University’s annual Quill Awards competition.

Lynbrook High School senior Alyssa Glanzer won a silver award in the “Most Outstanding Reporter” category at Adelphi University’s annual Quill Awards competition. Alyssa’s award-winning reporting was done for her school newspaper “Horizon.”
Each year, students from across Long Island compete in the Quill awards, which take place during Adelphi Press Day. Alyssa and ten of her fellow “Horizon” staff members attended Adelphi Press Day with their advisor, Jessica Sanders.
