Meeting tonight to address FEMA Sandy claims

A public meeting will offer homeowners information about pressing their Hurricane Sandy-related claims with the Federal Emergency Management Administration, which is reviewing Sandy claims following allegations of insurer fraud.

The meeting, which Washington, D.C. law firm Weisbrod Matteis & Copley PLLC and activist group Stop FEMA Now are sponsoring, will take place at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5 at Temple Beth Am of Merrick and Bellmore, at 2377 Merrick Ave. in Merrick. George Kasimos, a founder of Stop FEMA Now and New Jersey real estate broker, will be on hand.
