Sixty colleagues, both present and past, came out recently to celebrate the retirement of one of South Side High School’s beloved secretaries, Jean Cross. She and her family had a wonderful evening spent remembering her 36 years in her role as secretary to the school's assistant principals. Pictured with Jean, third from right, are seven of the nine former assistant principals with whom she worked.
