Police bust 14 on drug charges in suspected drug house

Arrests made blocks from local elementary school

Nassau County police arrested 14 on drug charges at a North Bellmore home just blocks away Saw Mill Road Elementary School around 7 p.m. on Thursday.

Narcotics Vice Squad detectives investigated the sale and possession of drugs and drug-related paraphernalia at the residence. After acquiring a search warrant, officials combed through the house, at 109 Hazel St.

Detectives seized material used to make Tetrahydrocannabinol— or THC oil— glass jars, glass beakers, tubing, a vacuum pump, syringes, scales, a money counter, computer, iPads, vape pens and assorted chemicals and compounds. Also confiscated were substances believed to be Oxycodone, Adderall, Suboxone and assorted THC oils and marijuana. Six vehicles were also seized, including a BMW SUV, Mercedes Benz SUV, Chevy Camaro, Chrysler, Lexus and Yamaha Scooter.

Christine Fortmeyer, 42, of North Bellmore, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a child. Eric Fortmeyer, 43, of North Bellmore, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, conspiracy and endangering the welfare of child. John Marcolini, 48, of Levittown, was arrested and charged with five counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, five counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance and conspiracy. Nicholas Lupo, 33, of Levittown, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal sale of a controlled substance and conspiracy.

Kenneth Sarra, 48, of Levittown, James Rubenstein, 51, of Levittown, Gina Eannucci, 52, of Westbury, Mark Scaramucci, 39, of East Meadow, Joseph Dellacona, 41, of Levittown, Sam Naderi, 37, of Westbury, Michael Janickey, 47, of Hicksville, Gerard Fogarty, 60, of Massapequa, Joseph Derogatis, 48, of Hicksville and James Dobbin, 49, of Deer Park, were all arrested and charged with conspiracy.

Those charged were arraigned on Nov. 3 in First District Court in Hempstead.
