Hewitt Fair
The fair supports the children and PTA of the Hewitt Elementary School. It will be held on the school's lawn at the corner of Hempstead and DeMott avenues.
Substance Use Awareness Walk
The annual 1.5-mile community walk for all ages on Nov. 1 begins at 10 a.m. at Skelos Sports Complex on Peninsula Boulevard. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m., welcoming remarks at 10, followed by the walk. In case of inclement weather, check the school district Web site at rvcschools.org.
