Sally Dietrich Bailey, 77

Sally Dietrich Bailey died on April 20. Born on June 23, 1932, she attended the Horace Mann School in Manhattan as a child and South Side High School. She was a graduate of Bucknell University and received a Masters in Library Science from the University of Pittsburgh.

She raised her family and resided most of her life in Rostraver Township in Belle Vernon, Penn., taught in the Charleroi School District and dedicated many hours of service and fellowship in the Zone B Chapter of Parents without Partners.

An accomplished pianist and an avid reader, her sense of humor and love of life will be missed.

She is survived by her children, Sally Bailey (Manhattan Kan.); Sue (Doug) Leo (Pittsford, N.Y.); John Bailey (Columbus, Ohio) and Sheryl Bailey (Bronx, N.Y.)  and  her grandchildren George Bailey, Ben Bailey, Douglas Leo and Everett Leo. She was predeceased by her parents and brother.

A memorial service will be held in Pennsylvania at a future date. Donations can be made to the Parents Without Partners Sally Bailey Memorial Youth Scholarship Fund.
