Nassau County Police are looking for someone who stole 252 school bus batteries. Sometime between April 9 and April 30, someone entered the Baumann Bus Company storage lot at 460 Brown Court in Oceanside. This person took 252 batteries from 84 school buses, or 3 per bus. These batteries are worth $25,000 total.

Detectives request that anyone with information regarding this crime call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
