The Rev. Msgr. Francis Maniscalco, pastor of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in West Hempstead, with recipients of the Spirit of St. Thomas Award, Melissa Connolly, Melissa LaMagna, Maria and Greg Steiner and Lori and Rob Lang. The award is given to longtime parishioners who have served the parish through their volunteer work or those who have gone above and beyond in their efforts coordination a parish event. All of the award recipients this year are active longtime members of the parish, but were honored for their work relating to two particular events.
