LI Annual Golf Outing Scheduled for Wed June 4th at Lido Golf Course

The Association for Facilities Engineering AFE Chapter 4 Long Island will host their Annual Charity Golf Outing on Wed, June 4, 2014 at the Lido Golf Course in Lido Beach. The AFE Chapter 4 chose Lido to show that LI has come back after Super Storm Sandy, where a charitable donation will be made to Boots on the Ground NY, all while enjoying a great day of golf, food and fun, at one of Long Island's top golf venues.

Boots on the Ground NY is a team of Veterans & Supporters that care about the Veterans of America, by collecting & delivering food and furniture for Veterans and their families, many that have been overlooked and forgotten. They believe that no Veteran should be hungry or sleeping on the floor. They ship care packages to the military units that don’t have access to supplies, providing what they can to those that need it most opening up their doors and hearts to any Veteran that needs it, as Veterans are not just a last name and case number. Boots on the Ground builds and maintains friendships; they are here for the families of the deployed and for the families of those taken in the Service of their Country.
