The DSK Experience, a Long Island trio of singers, performed at My Father’s Place in Roslyn on March 5.

Rockville Centre resident Dana Simone Glick, known as Dana Simone, was one of three women to take the stage that evening, along with Stephanie Lombardo, of East Meadow, and Krisi Ardito, of West Islip.

The show’s producers were Steve Kahn, of Rockville Centre, and Marvin Welkowitz, a longtime sound engineering professional.

Each singer had her own set and performed both covers and original songs. It was The DSK Experience’s inaugural show together and they hope to play more in the future.

Simone called it an “unforgettable experience.”

“The crowd was very interactive and responsive, which made us singers want to put on a great show for them,” she said. “I couldn’t have done this myself, and I want to thank my band members, who supported me through the performance. Overall, we had fun doing what we love and sharing our talent with the crowd.”

“I enjoyed singing with the band, which was a first time experience and would definitely think about using a band again the future,” Ardito added. “The audience definitely had a great reaction to all of our different styles and I can’t wait to do more shows in the future.”

"Every performer did a tremendous job," said Stephanie Lombardo, "and I could feel a soulful applause from the crowd cheering us on after every song.

"This was milestone performance for me because it was the first time I debuted original music for the first time," she added. "It was an extremely fun and exciting night, and I look forward to the next performance!"
