USDAN - NEW ARTS AND ACTIVITIES FOR 2015

Usdan Center for the Creative and Performing Arts, the renowned Long Island summer arts day camp, is always "pushing the envelope" on the definition of arts, and here are a few of the latest activities:

Yoga: this has definitely been the "hot" class for 2015, filling up immediately. Here's a photo of the Yoga Challenge (also viewable on Usdan's Instagram pages): students assumed poses of nature, and here's the Rock Pose.

Archery, at Usdan University: here's a new activity at the 12th annual edition of Usdan's fun and popular one-day arts camp experience for adults only. Created after years of requests from parents and alumni to "have something for me, too," Usdan U. includes study of the arts, lunch (from Panera Bread) and a concert, afternoon recreational activities -- and at the end, just like the regular students -- ice cream and a diploma!
