Spring Airs
Celebrate spring with the Adelphi Symphony Orchestra and guest soloist New Zealand-born pianist Henry Wong Doe. They’ll perform one of Mozart’s most enduring concertos, No. 21 in C Major, K. 467. The award-winning pianist offers an engaging performance with his uniquely captivating style. Conductor Salvatore Di Vittorio also leads the orchestra in Debussy’s Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun, and Brahms’ Symphony No. 2, sometimes called his “pastoral” symphony.

Broadway Memories

Chita Rivera’s Broadway
Broadway legend Chita Rivera joins the Long Island Philharmonic, for a special evening of music. The two-time Tony Award winner is accompanied by members of the Philharmonic as she performs selections from her most celebrated musicals.
These include “Bye Bye Birdie,” “Chicago,” “Kiss of the Spider Woman,” “The Rink,” “Sweet Charity,” and “West Side Story.”

Celebrating Chopin
Chamber Players International celebrates the bicentennial of Frederic Chopin as part of its brunch and concert series. The music of the Polish master is commemorated in program that includes Chopin’s Piano Trio, Polonaise Brillante, and Sonata No. 2 for piano. New York Philharmonic violinist Anna Rabinova performs with cellist Natalia Khoma and pianist Volodymyr Vynnytsky.
