Science Fair
Curious minds put to the test at Forest Road

EWWWW! What’s that? was a project by Chibugo Obichere and Nalani McFadden to see how people would respond to normal food colored differently.

Forest Road School hosted its sixth-grade science fair on Feb. 27. Students completed a variety of projects, studying animals, food, machines, plants and more. Their work was on display for dozens of proud parents, grandparents, siblings and friends who came to check out the work of District 30’s aspiring scientists.

Teachers and district administrators also came to see the work. Principal Erin Malone recorded the children as they gave explanations of their experiments. The students were led by teachers Ralph Laudano, Bruce Lesser and Sherrie Lewis.
