“Nassau’s tax assessment system is broken, and we must fix it,” Haber said. “Neither Democrats nor Republicans have come up with a workable solution in over a decade. Instead they have borrowed funds and risked cuts to much-needed services.”
He added that he hopes Suozzi will find time before the primary for a debate, but assured the audience that he would not let Suozzi’s avoidance of him hinder his campaign.
