Woman held up as she left bank

A woman was robbed by two men, one of who had a gun, as she left the Chase Bank on Rosedale Road on Jan. 14, according to Nassau County police.

The 25-year-old woman left the bank, at 930 Rosedale Rd., at 9:30 p.m. and headed for her car when two men approached her. Police said one of the men was armed with a gun. The men “forcibly” took the victim’s cell phone, assorted jewelry and an undetermined amount of cash from her pocketbook, police said, then got into a black Mercedes Benz sedan and fled west on Rosedale Road. A woman waited in the car during the robbery, according to police.

The victim was not injured.

The first two suspects were described as dark-skinned black men. One was described as 5 feet 11 and heavyset, between 30 and 40 years old with a beard and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a black jacket, black pants, a black winter hat and armed with a black revolver.

The second man was described as 6 feet tall with a thin build, between 30 and 40 years old with a small patch of hair on his chin and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black boots.

The third suspect was described as a dark-skinned black woman between 25 and 35 years old. She was wearing a black bubble jacket and a black winter hat, according to police.
