The Valley Stream Aquatic Club hosted its annual exhibition at the Hendrickson Park pool last Saturday evening. This year’s theme was “One Hit Wonders.” Membes of the club performed a variety of synchronized swimming routines.
There were also dance performances by members of the Aquatic Club, under the direction of Bridget Zinna, as well as an awards presentation.
Awards were also presented to members of the Valley Stream swim team. Recipients were announced by head coach George Amitrano. Jilliana Strojan received the Most Improved Synchronized Swimmer award and Megan Ross was named the Most Dedicated Swimmer. Receiving Rookie of the Year honors was Mia Peredo.
