Nassau County police said that no major injuries were sustained by anyone involved in the accident, but did not know how many people were transported to the hospital.

Richard Gregoris, owner of Gregoris Subaru, said that the dealership sustained only superficial damage in the accident. "There was no structural damage. The front face of the building was scuffed up, the footing was damaged. There was no broken glass, but the window and door frames are both pretty bent up."

Gregoris said he had "no idea" how much it would cost to repair the dealership.

Several people received medical attention after a three-car accident on West Merrick Road sent two vehicles crashing into a car dealership on Tuesday at around 4 p.m.

The accident occurred in front of the Gregoris Subaru dealership at 555 West Merrick Road. Owner Richard Gregoris said a Jeep attempted to make a U-turn when it was struck by another vehicle. The Jeep then ricocheted into a parked vehicle, sending both cars crashing into the dealership.

Gregoris said he saw two children inside one car who looked “shaken up” but did not appear to be injured. They were taken from the scene in an ambulance.

Nassau Police are investigating the crash but did not immediately provide any information on injuries.
