District 13 kindergarten registration on March 14

Valley Stream School District 13 will hold kindergarten registration for September 2016 at the James A. Dever School, at 585 N. Corona Ave. in Valley Stream, on Monday, March 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. It is open to children who are legal residents of the district and who will be 5 years old on or before Dec. 1.
The following documents are required:

• An original birth certificate with a raised seal.
• Proofs of residence, including a deed and a mortgage or tax bill for homeowners; a lease or rental agreement for renters; two utility bills and parent photo identification.
• The child’s immunization record stamped by a doctor.

Registration packets must be completed prior to registration. They can be picked up at the main office of the resident’s home school. Their phone numbers are as follows: James A.
