A Queens man was arrested on Sunday after Nassau County police said he was spotted entering two cars parked on East Argyle Street.

Police received a call about a person entering the cars at 4:24 a.m. Responding officers saw a man run north on East Argyle Street and climb over a fence. They gave chase and caught the suspect, from whom they recovered an iPhone, iPod, mini flashlights, a silver colored chain and a blue chain purse that belonged to the owners of the vehicles that had been entered, police said.

Bionick Pierre, 20, was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and four counts of petit larceny, which included charges related to the Nov. 27 theft of cash, a laptop computer and an Apple MacBook Air from a black Infiniti parked on East Argyle Street.
