Man robbed while waiting for bus in Valley Stream

Nassau County Police are investigating the robbery of a man waiting for a bus near the Green Acres Mall late Monday night.
According to police, the 59-year-man was waiting a bus stop on Green Acres Road at 11:55 p.m. on Aug. 1 when another man grabbed him, reached into his pocket and took money. The robber then got into a red car and fled. He was last scene headed toward Sunrise Highway.
The victim was not injured. The suspect is described as a black male with a light complexion and a goatee, about 30 years old wearing a blue shirt.
