The Friends of North Valley Stream held its annual Christmas tree lighting on Dec. 8 at the Matthew Giglio Plaza at Dutch Broadway and Corona Avenue. The Howell Road School Chorale and James A. Dever wind ensemble performed and there was a visit from Santa Claus.
