Scout is thankful for all the support

To the Editor:
I have been honored to work with my Eagle Scout advancement chairman, Mr. Mike Powers, who recommended doing my project with Friends of the Valley Stream Dogs Park in conjunction with the Incorporated Village of Valley Stream.
It has been a great experience working with the community, Troop 369, friends, family and local artists that helped me accomplish the long journey towards obtaining the Eagle Scout rank.
I want to give special thanks to my uncle, David Marin, who traveled 144 miles from Hancock, N.Y. to guide and help me with the design and construction of the shed that will be used to store supplies. I want to thank my scout leaders who encouraged me and supported me.
Most of all thank you to my dad, who helped me, had faith in me and stuck by me throughout the many years of scouting. I look forward to meeting with the Eagle Scout Board of Review to show my accomplishments.
