Students practice school bus evacuation

Students at the Willow Road School learned how to evacuate a school bus in an emergency.

Students at the Willow Road School participated in school bus safety drills this month as part of District 13’s annual emergency training.

Before boarding the buses, the students reviewed emergency evacuation procedures in their classrooms. On school grounds, they practiced proper evacuation through the rear door of a school bus with the help of transportation staff, teachers and aides.
