Support Citizens Independence Party

To the Editor:

I am writing to you today to endorse the Citizens Independence Party in the March 15 election — for mayor Joe Margolin and for trustees Carol Crupi and Mike LoCascio.

We have had the pleasure during the last year to meet these individuals at community meetings. We believe they can make a difference in this community. We live in the Mill Brook section of Valley Stream so we are unable to take part in this election, however, we wanted to take this opportunity to endorse these candidates. We have a committed interest in saving this community. 

While the community was busy working long hours to maintain their homes, pay their taxes, etc., the elected officials were out to lunch. We need to work together as a community to rescind the FEMA flood zones and restore property values.
