Wheeler turns into a Winter Wonderland

Valley Stream 13’s Wheeler Avenue Elementary School welcomed in the holiday season with festive cheer, recently holding its annual Winter Wonderland event, a festive celebration coordinated by the school’s Parent-Teacher Association. The event engaged students and their families in a variety of winter holiday-themed activities, creating a joyful atmosphere that truly embodied the spirit of the season.

“We are thrilled with the turnout for this year’s Winter Wonderland,” said Ruth Peets-Butcher, Principal of Wheeler Avenue Elementary School. “It is wonderful to see our students and their families come together to celebrate the holiday season. We are grateful to our PTA for organizing such a fantastic event and always going above and beyond for our school community.”

The school’s cafeteria was transformed into a winter wonderland, which included participants donning festive, holiday sweaters. Attendees were treated to hot chocolate and pizza. The combination of delicious snacks, warm drinks, and a room full of holiday cheer made for a memorable event that was enjoyed by all.
