Confucius studies a hit in West Hempstead

Posted

The sessions conducted in the study of Confucianism co-sponsored by the Rotary Club of West Hempstead and the Chinese Center on Long Island have been a huge success. The audiences have been mesmerized by presenter Dr. David Huang, a Confucian scholar who discussed the life and times of Confucius. His assistant, Douglas Lee, ran the PowerPoint portion of the presentation and enhanced the evening with his remarks. Huang’s division of Confucius’ work into several categories helps to facilitate comprehension and focus; You will not want to miss the remaining sessions. If you wish to attend, tickets are still available.  Prepaid tickets for any or all of the remaining sessions are $15 each rather than $20 at the door. The dates of the next sessions are Dec. 7, Jan. 11 and the final session will be Jan. 25.  For information contact Helen Chin at (516) 883-8798 or by emailing htchinus@yahoo.com.
