75 Stories For 75 Years
An exhibit celebrating Hofstra University's 75th anniversary, drawn from the University Archives collection which focuses on the history of the University. Through the use of photographs, original documents, memorabilia and objects, the exhibition tells 75 stories from Hofstra's past, including: the stories of William and Kate Hofstra, the University Presidents; and events relating to students, faculty and staff. Displaced Persons Camps: Rebuilding Culture And Community In The Aftermath Of World War II
Albums, memories and reflections of former displaced persons are displayed in this exhibit, written and curated by Lillian Gewirtzman and produced by Marilyn Rabetz. For Us The Living” – The Civil War In Paintings
The drama of the Civil War is portrayed in an exhibit of paintings by Mort Künstler, considered to be the leading contemporary painter of Civil War scenes. Photos To Be Saved By The Fire

The Freeport Theatre Guild is casting for "Dark Night of Destiny," an original one-act play by Daniel Donovan. The one-set drama-comedy has two male characters, the main character is approximately 65, although he may look younger.
