Just as the fall season comes into full swing, business owners and community leaders in West Hempstead hosted a Street Fair for families on Oct. 4.
The event, which ran along Nassau Boulevard, featured games, an array of foods, pony and train rides, a gigantic boat-shaped bouncer, vendors and more.
The fair was sponsored by the West Hempstead Chamber of Commerce, West Hempstead Community Support Association and Showtiques.
