Hempstead Town recently held its Presidents’ Recognition Day with the president of local senior centers and clubs at the Nathan L.H. Bennett Pavilion at town hall in Hempstead. During the annual program, town Supervisor Kate Murray acknowledged the devoted service and efforts of the presidents and the vital role they play in managing events and activities in concert with the town’s senior coordinators.
