Long Island Philharmonic
Enjoy music under the stars when the Long Island Philharmonic presents a free concert at Eisenhower Park. Music Director David Stewart Wiley leads his orchestra in some all-time favorites to the stage, including Mozart’s Allegro from Eine kleine Nachtmusik, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6 in F Major, Op. 68 “Pastoral” I. Allegro ma non troppo, Sibelius’ Finlandia, Op. 26, Rimsky’s “Dance of the Tumblers” from The Snow Maiden,Wagner’s “Ride of the Valkyries” from Die Walküre, Holst’s The Planets, along with a West Side Story medley, and more.

Silly Tunes

The Silly Dilly Band
The Long Island Children’s Museum stage is the scene for some high-energy musical antics with The Silly Dilly Band. Their shows, which feature colorful costumes, props, include many original songs with bright harmonies, as well as familiar songs with a very special Silly Dilly flair!

Family Fun

Dora’s Pirate Adventure
A good time will be had by all when Dora the Explorer, her best buddy Boots the Monkey and the rest of their friends embark on an exciting trip to Treasure Island. Plaza Theatrical Productions, in association with Nickelodeon, brings this charming production to the Long Island Children’s Museum stage. Along the way, the audience will use their map-reading, counting, musical and language skills to successfully help Dora reach the treasure.
