Malverne High School is remote today after a pipe burst

Malverne High School is remote today for heating concerns.
The school reportedly found a pipe break on Thursday, and needed to shut down the school's heating system to take care of it. The school is remote today in anticipation of colder temperatures, so the students may remain comfortable as they learn.
School representatives say that when the heat became an issue, service providers visited the site. A plan for repairs is in place.
Students and parents need not worry for Monday anyway — from the 19th to the 23rd, winter break is in full swing.
