At Malverne’s Maurice W. Downing Primary School, incoming kindergartners are meeting new friends, learning and having fun at the ABC Academy.
The three-week program, which started on July 10, prepares students for the upcoming school year socially and academically by engaging them in art, numbers and letters, shapes, music and more. The instruction is led by some of the same Malverne teachers who will have these students in their classes starting in September.
