A black Mercedes flipped several times near the corner of Euston Road and Hempstead Turnpike in West Hempstead today, around 1 p.m.

A Boston Market employee, who declined to be identified, said that he saw part of the accident from inside of the store, which faces Hempstead Turnpike. The man said that the driver of the Mercedes clipped the back right bumper of an Metropolitan Transit Authority bus, while traveling along Hempstead Turnpike, and "flipped over and over,” until it landed on its side.

The witness also said that the man appeared to be relatively unharmed. The MTA bus driver, who appeared to be physically unscathed, declined to comment. Nassau County Police detectives were at the scene of the crime, but also declined to comment until further investigation.
