The bands and choires at Malverne and West Hempstead high schools held their winter concerts last week, wowing audience-packed auditoriums. West Hempstead Middle School also performed for parents, staff and fellow students last week at part two of its winter concert.
Members of the Malverne school community filled the seats at the Howard T. Herber Middle School auditorium on Dec. 15 to see performances by members of the high school band, which took the state title at this year's New York State Field Band Championships Small School III Conference in November.
