Mostly Cloudy Tomahawks team up to give back
The Tomahawks — the West Hempstead Chiefs Soccer Club Boys U13 team — held a food drive last month to help feed community residents in need. The entire Tomahawks family, team members, coaches and parents included, put together a full Thanksgiving meal, soup to nuts and distributed it to the West Hempstead High School Key Club to further distribute.
"The moms on my team are amazing people and really got into the spirit of giving while doing this project," said Tomahawks Coach Loraine Magaraci. "You should know that [West Hempstead] is full of amazing people!"
On the team are (not in the order pictured) Matthew Agousalidis, Dayquan Crawley, Jason Criollo, Alex DaSilva, Steven DiMarco, Thomas Farrell, Brian Fennes, Matthew Gitter, Nicholas Magaraci, Christopher Mistretta, Matthew Nedelka, Eric Rodrigues, Bobby Ruggiano, Brendan Sheel and Allan Wilson.
