County Clerk Maureen O’Connell and Comptroller George Maragos joined Boy Scout Troop 240 to award Eric J. Hesselbach of West Hempstead with a County Citation in recognition of his achievements at their Eagle Scout Court of Honor Ceremony.

O’Connell and Maragos along with other area officials, the leaders and families of Troop 240 honored this outstanding young man who demonstrated great commitment to community service. His dedication and many accomplishments earned him the rank of Eagle Scout, which is the highest award in the Boy Scouts of America.
