W.H. residents named All-League athletes

Three students from Kellenberg Memorial High School, Ryan Pistone, Paige and Brooke Salmon, all of West Hempstead, recently earned the titles of All-League athletes of The Nassau Suffolk Catholic High School Athletic Association.

Senior Paige Salmon and Junior Brooke Salmon both received the honor in the NSCHSAA Girls and Boys Soccer League; Senior Pistone acquired the same title in the NSCHSAA Boys Soccer League. Paige also received the title of Player of the Year from the association.

All-League athletes and Player of the Year are chosen by the NSCHSAA based on a vote by all of its Girls and Boys Soccer League coaches, evaluating each athlete’s performance during the season.
