Town to hold bike locker lottery

Hempstead Town Supervisor Kate Murray, Councilwoman Angie Cullin, Councilman Gary Hudes and Town Clerk Nasrin Ahmad announced on March 14 that a drawing for the bicycle lockers at the Bellmore Long Island Rail Road station would be held early next month. They encouraged commuters to consider entering the lottery and traveling to the train station by bycycle to be more health-conscious and environmentally friendly. more
