By David Weingrad

Students marched down East Meadow Streets, brandishing banners and showing off their school spirit.

It was a celebration in East Meadow this weekend, as students from East Meadow High School lined the streets for the school’s annual Homecoming parade.

The school ‘s cheerleaders and kickline squad livened the crowd, and the marching band played sweet music as the procession made its way towards East Meadow High School.

Students Dave Carey and Danielle Jean represented the school as Homecoming king and queen.

Each class chose a superhero theme to design their float, which included superheroes such as Batman, Superman or Captain America. Indeed, it was a super day for all involved.
