Clarke High School, who, at 17 years old, has already rocked out with an internationally renowned band and conducted cancer research alongside college students and professors. When some 600 graduates walked across the stage at East Meadow and W.T. Clarke high schools last Sunday to receive their diplomas, there was one notable absence. Eric Gershoff, of East Meadow High, reported to basic cadet training at the U.S. Air Force Academy, in Colorado Springs, on June 25, four days before graduation. more

East Meadow High School’s Nathan Siegelaub and Hassan Alam’s academic accomplishments speak for themselves. Siegelaub and Alam, the school’s valedictorian and salutatorian, respectively, accumulated the highest grade point averages of their graduating class, and have been involved as well in various clubs and extracurricular activities. more

The Bowling Green K-Kids hosted its 6th annual talent show last Friday at W.T. Clarke High School to benefit the Eliminate Project, UNICEF’s global campaign in partnership with Kiwanis International, which aims to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus worldwide. The group raised a cumulative total of $11,500. more
