Bank of America robbed in Merrick

The Bank of America, at 2020 Merrick Road, was robbed on Aug. 29 at 2:08 p.m., according to Nassau County police.

Authorities said a black male wearing black pants and a gray T-shirt entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied. The man then ran off in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Two employees were in the bank at the time. They were unhurt. There were no customers there at the time.
